2024-12-07 12:35:02The School currently offers two master’s degree programs, one National First-Class Program Construction Site, one Provincial First-Class Program Construction Site, and one Provincial Advantageous Characteristic Key Disciplines.
The faculty comprises 47 full-time instructors, including 9 professors and 19 associate professors, with 26 holding doctoral degrees. Among them are one member of the Advisory Committee on Mechanical Disciplines of the Ministry of Education, one member of the Advisory Committee on Mechanical Programs of Jilin Province, and one member of the Advisory Committee on Laboratory Construction and Experimental Teaching of Jilin Province. The faculty also includes 2 top-notch innovative talents of Jilin province, 1distinguished teacher of Jilin province, 1 mid-career and young backbone teacher, as well as 2 Category B talents, 5 Category D talents, and 10 Category talents recognized by Jilin Province. There are 20 master’s supervisors, including 3 part-time doctoral supervisors from Changchun University of Science and Technology.
In recent years, the School of Mechanical and Vehicle Engineering has published over 300 academic papers, with more than 150 included in SCI and EI. It has undertaken more than 100 national and provincial-level projects and won 3 Provincial Science and Technology Progress Awards.
It currently boasts 1 national-level research platform, 2 provincial-level research platforms, 1 municipal-level research platform, 4 discipline research laboratories, and 15 off-campus practice bases.
It has 1 provincial-level quality course, 2 provincial-level excellent courses, and 1 provincial-level open course. It is home to a Huang Danian-style teaching team recognized by Jilin Province and a provincial-level excellent teaching team. It also hosts a "Provincial Innovation Experimental Zone for Talent Training Models" and has received 8 Provincial Teaching Achievement Awards.
On average, students secure over 30 national-level innovation projects and more than 80 provincial-level awards annually.
