The School of International Education is responsible for the cultivation of talents in international Chinese language education, education for international students, and the establishment of Confucius Institutes abroad.

It has now formed a distinctive educational system, which integrates four key areas: undergraduate programs in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Language, master's programs in International Chinese Language Education, international student education, and Confucius Institute development.

The School currently offers a master's degree in International Chinese Language Education.  

There are 18 full-time faculty instructors, including 2 professors, 5 associate professors, and 12 Ph.D. holders, with 8 members having overseas teaching and educational experience.  

In the past five years, faculty members have published over 100 academic papers, with more than 20 indexed by SSCI and CSSCI. They have undertaken over 10 national and provincial-level research projects, received 2 national-level awards, 10 provincial-level awards, and 3 municipal-level awards.  

The School has 1 provincial-level research platform, 1 university-level research platform, and 8 domestic and international practice bases.  

Students have received 7 national-level innovation awards and 8 provincial-level awards.
