Changchun University Keimyung College
2024-12-07 15:07:29Changchun University Keimyung College (referred to as Keimyung College) is a non-independent legal entity established jointly by Changchun University and Keimyung University of South Korea, with approval from the Ministry of Education of China (License No.: MOE22KRA02DNR20222286N). In response to the trends of economic globalization and rapid technological development, the college leverages the advanced educational philosophy and high-quality resources of its Chinese and Korean partner institutions. Guided by its motto, “Pursue Virtue and Strive for Excellence,” Keimyung College integrates cultural exchange with professional practice, advocating for diverse management services and a comprehensive guidance-based education system. It aims to foster a unique student development framework and talent cultivation model, producing high-level applied talents with international perspectives, cross-cultural communication abilities, and innovative capabilities. Currently, Keimyung College offers three undergraduate programs: Vehicle Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Automation, and Food Science and Engineering. With a high-level, international, and well-structured faculty team, the college adopts a bilingual (Chinese and Korean) small-class teaching model to provide students with a superior and efficient educational experience.
Training Model
The undergraduate program lasts four years and adopts a flexible, diverse talent cultivation model:
(1)“2+2” Model:
Students study at Changchun University for two years. Those who meet the requirements for studying abroad can apply to study at Keimyung University in Korea for the remaining two years. Credits are mutually recognized between the two institutions. Upon fulfilling the degree requirements of both universities, students can obtain a bachelor's degree certificate and diploma from each. During the exchange period at Keimyung University, students are required to pay tuition to Changchun University as usual, with no additional tuition fees charged by Keimyung University. Students are responsible for covering their airfare to Korea, accommodation, living expenses, and other miscellaneous costs.
(2)“4+0” Model:
Students complete all four years of study at Changchun University. Those who meet Changchun University's graduation and degree requirements will be awarded a bachelor's degree certificate and diploma from Changchun University.
(3)Combined Bachelor's-Master's Program:
After completing the four-year undergraduate program, students who meet Keimyung University's graduate admission requirements are given priority to pursue a master's degree at Keimyung University in South Korea.
