The "Asian Campus" and "Asian University Student Collective Action Exchange Program," led by the governments of China, Japan, and South Korea, aim to promote university exchanges and cooperation between the three countries. Since 2021, our university, in collaboration with Beijing Normal University, Hiroshima University of Japan, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in South Korea, Kasetsart University in Thailand, and Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, has jointly signed the "Talent Cultivation for Integrative Thinking: Joint Training Program for High-Level International Talents in Asian Universities" cooperation agreement. This project, as one of the "Asian Campus" implementation plans, officially launched in 2022 with a five-year duration, aiming to engage 500 students in both online and offline activities across four sub-projects.

The Special Education College of our university has 45 students (including 9 students with disabilities) participating in the online courses related to integration, inclusivity, diversity, history, culture, and education offered by the "Asian Campus." Additionally, 15 students (including 4 students with disabilities) participated offline in short-term cultural training courses on inclusive education at Hiroshima University, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, and Kasetsart University. English was the primary language of communication, while Chinese, English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese Sign Language, American Sign Language, and Japanese Sign Language were used interchangeably throughout the program, which deeply impressed all participants, showcasing the vibrant landscape of global linguistic and cultural exchange.

The member universities of the "Asian Campus" leverage their respective strengths to jointly cultivate talents with integrative thinking. Throughout the project, annual management meetings are held, allowing for the exchange of experiences and the promotion of a cooperative talent cultivation model between China, Japan, and South Korea. This initiative has enhanced friendly relations between the universities, broadened students' international perspectives, improved the reputation of our university's special education program, strengthened students' language communication skills, and built an international exchange platform for students with disabilities. It has also helped students integrate into society more quickly and effectively.
