The School currently offers two master's degree programs: Control Science and Engineering (academic master’s) and Control Engineering (professional master’s). It also has two Provincial First-Class Program Construction Sites: Electrical Engineering and Automation, and Communication Engineering.

There are 67 full-time instructors, including 11 professors, 23 associate professors, with 31 holding doctoral degrees. There are 37 master's supervisors, 11 faculty members with overseas study experience, 1 provincial distinguished teacher, 1 provincial outstanding contribution expert, and 1 outstanding talent in provincial innovation and entrepreneurship.

In the past five years, faculty members have completed over 300 provincial and higher-level scientific research projects, more than 30 teaching and research projects, published 15 textbooks and 6 monographs, and authored over 200 academic papers indexed by SCI, EI, and ISTP. They have received one second prize and two third prizes for Science and Technology Progress Awards from Jilin Province, three first prizes for Outstanding Scientific and Technological Achievement Award in Higher Education, 15 Provincial Natural Science Achievement Awards, three Provincial Outstanding Textbook Awards, and 22 authorized invention patents. The school also has two provincial-level excellent teaching teams.

In the past five years, students have received 112 national-level awards in academic competitions and over 300 provincial-level awards.
